Top Navigation and Maps Apps on Android in Hungary, Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the top navigation and maps applications on the Android platform in Hungary showed varied performance in terms of downloads and active user engagement. This data, provided by Sensor Tower, offers a closer look at the trends for these popular apps.

Waze Navigation & Live Traffic maintained a consistent download rate throughout the quarter, peaking at about 5.6K downloads in early November before experiencing a steady decline to 3.4K by mid-December. Active users fluctuated, starting at approximately 513K and ending the year at around 539K.

Google Earth had a relatively stable download count, with numbers ranging from 1K to 1.5K per week. Active users saw a gradual increase, starting from 14.3K and reaching a high of 18K by the end of December.

vintrica Mobility experienced a surge in downloads towards the end of the quarter, escalating from 1K in early October to over 5K by late December. Active user numbers mirrored this growth, increasing from 5.9K to 12.1K over the same period.

MapXplorer: Navigation, Radar saw significant fluctuations in downloads, with a notable peak of 3.1K in late October before declining to just 62 by the end of December. Active user numbers remained relatively stable, hovering around 6.2K to 8.4K through the quarter.

Lastly, Radar - Speed Camera Detector began the quarter with a spike in downloads, reaching over 1.8K in early October, before stabilizing around the 200 mark towards the end of the year. Active users showed a slight upward trend, increasing from 1.1K to 1.3K.
